A forgotten legendary creature. Five sealed clues. Twelve suspects. Can you identify the commander before the last envelope opens?
Five legendary creatures. One question: which legend has the lowest overall Commander card usage? Rank them using the EDHREC card-usage snapshot.
Each day brings the same two puzzles for everyone. Start with Cold Case: examine a clue, pick a commander, and reveal the next piece of evidence after an incorrect guess. In Obscurity Ladder, use the up and down buttons to sort five legendary cards by their dated EDHREC Commander card-usage ranking.
New daily puzzles arrive at midnight Central Time. Practice games are unlimited, but do not earn achievements.

Scores can be shared without spoilers. Each daily Ladder is frozen to a dated source snapshot. New puzzles use Scryfall EDHREC card-usage ranks, which do not measure how many decks a card leads as commander.
Starting October 14, 2026, Obscurity Ladder uses Scryfall EDHREC card-use rankings, refreshed automatically and frozen per daily puzzle. Higher numeric rank means lower use as a card in EDHREC decklists. This is not a count of decks led by that commander, nor a measure of strength. The October 13 launch puzzle keeps its original manually recorded EDHREC commander deck-count snapshot. Both games use Scryfall for card artwork and identification links.
