Deep Cuts EDH is a community-run Magic: The Gathering fan site. This page explains how its website features and advertising may use information about visitors. The site is hosted on Cloudflare.
What information is used
Browsing public Rescue Reports, card searches, and daily games does not require creating an account. If you choose to create a Field Network profile, your public handle, profile image selection, biography, published decks, contributions, and public achievements can be shown to other visitors. Profile authentication, device sessions, saved collections, notifications, and account recovery use private records to operate the features you request. A remembered-device cookie may keep you signed in. Browser storage can remember local decks, game progress, and display choices. Technical systems also process request information needed for operation and abuse protection, which can include IP address and browser information.
Third-party services that supply features, including Scryfall for card data/images, Cloudflare for site hosting/security, and payment or mail providers where applicable, may process data when you use those features. Their own policies govern their services.
Advertising and cookies
Selected public pages may load Google AdSense advertising technology. When Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google and potentially other advertising partners, may place and read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers for ad delivery, personalization, fraud prevention, reporting, and measurement.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to this site or to other websites. You can manage or turn off personalized Google ads in Google's Ad Settings, and you can learn about opting out of certain third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info. Browser settings may also allow you to limit or erase cookies. Some site features, including remembered sign-in, may need cookies to work.
Where required, consent preferences for advertising will be handled through an appropriate consent-management notice. Ad choices may vary depending on location and advertising provider settings.
Ad-free monthly Ko-fi supporter status
To recognize an ad-free Ko-fi monthly subscription, a signed-in Field Network profile must verify the same email address used for the recurring Ko-fi payment. Our server checks a keyed, non-reversible email identifier against a verified subscription payment's paid-through date before including advertising code in the requested page. Ko-fi payment records store hashed email identifiers, not the subscriber's plaintext email. The exemption stops when the paid-through date expires without a new payment; older subscriptions may be reconciled manually after the owner verifies the payment. This ad-free benefit does not require activating a premium Field Office key.
Public profiles and account control
Anything you choose to publish publicly (such as a profile biography, deck, or community finding) may be seen by visitors. Private sign-in credentials, recovery codes, and saved card collections are not intended to be displayed publicly. You can manage available profile settings in the Field Network account section. Avoid posting sensitive personal information in a public profile.
